success story: Giniversity

Giniversity: it’s back to school...

If you dare to learn, you can become an honorary Distiller for a day.The Margaret River Distilling Co. is home to Giniversity, a unique working distillery that boasts a rejuvenated, vibrant and dramatic range of gins in an area that is renowned for good food and wine, history and heritage, a friendly community and aquatic and coastal experiences.

The brainchild of founder Cameron Syme, Giniversity provides 'students' a genuine, hands-on distilling experience with a sense of adventure and artistic flare. Small and interactive gin making classes combine a practical knowledge of spirit making while learning the art of distilling and broadening your appreciation for gin.
Now that sounds like study I want to do!

So what makes Giniversity blends so special? Fusing traditional recipes and botanicals that have been wildly foraged in Australia’s South West, Giniversity individually distills and infuses their blends to create three distinctive aromatic styles under the guidance of distiller Rebecca De Burgh. Their beautiful and distinctive label design perfectly complements the artisan look and feel. Another great labelling success from QLM Label Makers - WA.

Giniversity: artistic expression through gin

distilling and blending classes available
• a unique experiment of clever unearthing and trials
London Dry: a classic favourite with a distinctive native influence
Barrel Aged: an abstract of earth, wine and gin
Botanical: a tribute to the natural world, decidedly Australian
